What Is MVTR — And Why It Matters for Your T-Shirt

When it comes to comfort, breathability is everything. A T-shirt can look great, but if it traps heat and moisture, you’ll feel uncomfortable fast. That’s where MVTR comes in — and more importantly, how you balance it.

MVTR stands for Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate. It measures how well a fabric allows moisture vapor (your sweat in gas form) to move through the fabric and escape into the air. The higher the MVTR, the more breathable the shirt. But here’s the part most brands get wrong: breathability alone isn’t enough.

Too low, and sweat gets trapped inside.
Too high, and liquid sweat can push through and show on the outside.

The real magic happens in the perfect middle — and that’s exactly where our T-shirt is engineered to live.

Our Perfect MVTR Ratio: Air Out, Liquids Blocked

We designed our fabric with a precisely tuned MVTR ratio. That means it allows heat and moisture vapor to escape freely, while still blocking liquid sweat from passing through to the surface.

In simple terms:
✔ Airflow moves out
✔ Heat escapes
✔ Vapor evaporates
✔ Liquid sweat stays inside and gets absorbed

So your body can breathe, but your shirt stays looking clean.

Why This Balance Matters in Real Life

Most T-shirts fail in one of two ways. Either they trap moisture and make you feel clammy, or they’re so thin and open that sweat pushes straight through and shows instantly. Our fabric is engineered to avoid both extremes.

By dialling in the MVTR just right, your shirt releases moisture before it ever becomes a visible problem. You stay cooler, drier, and more confident — whether you’re in a meeting, on a date, or walking through a hot city street.

Performance Without the “Athletic” Look

A lot of high-MVTR fabrics feel plastic, noisy, or look like gym wear. Ours doesn’t. The outer layer is premium cotton / polyester blend, so it looks and feels like a luxury everyday tee. Underneath, the absorbent inner layer works with our MVTR structure to manage moisture before it reaches the surface.

The result is performance you can’t see — but you’ll definitely feel.

The System: Absorb, Release, Protect

Our Version 2 fabric works as a system:

• The inner layer absorbs liquid sweat
• The MVTR structure releases vapor and heat
• The outer layer blocks stains and stays breathable

So instead of fighting your body, your shirt works with it.

Final Thoughts

MVTR isn’t about choosing between breathability and protection. It’s about achieving both — at the same time.

That’s why we engineered our T-shirt with a perfectly balanced MVTR ratio that blocks liquids but promotes airflow. You get comfort, confidence, and a clean look all day.

Because the best performance is the kind you never have to think about.
